First posted last December 24, 2014 – It’s been a very busy month for everyone… can you imagine that yesterday (December 23) was the only day that I have a blank calendar?… nothing specific has to be done. So I can spend the day as I please… Oh this is glorious.
So, I decided to give my Christmas presence to my boys. Though I haven’t really done my Christmas shopping yet (yes you read it right – I’m that lazy when it comes to shopping), I chose to spend this time with them making a perfect Christmas presence than to look for the perfect gift at the mall.
Here’s how it goes:
I prepared my husband’s breakfast baon, something I really really miss doing and I got my son his favorite breakfast and we ate together. Everyday I prepare my son’s breakfast but I rarely eat breakfast with him… specially on weekdays since I still have to prepare his lunch and snacks before going to office.
My son and I took a nap after reading and reading our Christmas themed books… another thing that I haven’t done in a loooong time.
My son and I went to Ayala Triangle, and spend some time outdoors with his friends (stuffed animals) and we waited for his dad and his office mates / friends (which happen to be my blog’s consistent readers – I’m so kilig! :-)). We watched the sound and light show while enjoying good food and great company.
Before going home, we sat on the grounds of Ayala Triangle and spend the rest of the night in one another’s arms. Martie enjoyed the available space away from the crowd, while my husband and I cherished the moment of just being together. In our very busy lives, we seldom give time to notice the scent of the fresh grass, observe the movements of the clouds and feel the cold breeze of the night… I’m so glad I was able to appreciate all of that last night with my boys.
It was such a perfect Christmas presence day.
Merry Christmas everyone.
